Singapore Passport and IC Photo Requirements
For online passport and IC applications, ICA's
photo guidelines
ask for:
A digital photo of 400 x 514 pixels
A jpg, jpeg, heic, heif or png file of up to 8MB
A colour photo taken within the last three months
A plain white background
A neutral expression with your mouth closed, eyes open and looking at the camera
Your full face, shoulders and hair visible, with even lighting and no shadows
For PR and LTVP applications, follow ICA's photo guidelines. Visa and student's pass
applications need a JPEG of at most 60KB. Choose the matching photo type above before
you upload.
How It Works
Choose your photo type, such as Singapore Passport Photo.
Upload a clear, front-facing photo taken in good light.
We crop it to the right size, refine the background and show you a watermarked preview.
After payment, download your digital photo and a printable photo sheet. A receipt is sent to your email.
